القواعد
- يبدأ كل لاعب بـ8 حجراً على لوح 8 × 8.
- املأ المربعات الداكنة في أقرب 2 صفوف.
- يبدأ صاحب الأحجار الداكنة.
- يتحرك الحجر خطوة واحدة قطرياً للأمام.
- الأخذ إجباري.
- اقفز فوق حجر خصم مجاور إلى المربع الفارغ خلفه.
- لا يمكن للحجر الأخذ للخلف.
- أكمل سلسلة القفزات بالحجر نفسه.
- يمكن اختيار أي سلسلة أخذ كاملة، ولا يشترط اختيار الأطول.
- أزل الأحجار المأخوذة فوراً.
- تتحرك الدامة بأي مسافة على الأقطار.
- اقفز فوق حجر خصم واحد في كل مرة واهبط مباشرة خلفه.
- يجوز للدامة عكس الاتجاه خلال السلسلة.
- يتوج الحجر عند وصوله للصف الأخير وينتهي الدور، حتى إن أمكن للدامة الجديدة متابعة الأخذ.
- تفوز بأخذ جميع أحجار الخصم أو منعها من الحركة.
- تعتمد شدة التعادل تلقائياً عند تكرار الوضع ثلاث مرات، أو بعد 80 دوراً متتالياً دون أخذ أو تحريك حجر عادي.
- تُستخدم اختبارات التعادل التلقائية للعب الاجتماعي عبر الإنترنت، ولا تحاكي إجراءات مطالبات الحكام في البطولات.

الملوك
تتحرك الدامة بأي مسافة على الأقطار. اقفز فوق حجر خصم واحد في كل مرة واهبط مباشرة خلفه. يجوز للدامة عكس الاتجاه خلال السلسلة.
الترقية
يتوج الحجر عند وصوله للصف الأخير وينتهي الدور، حتى إن أمكن للدامة الجديدة متابعة الأخذ.

The rules
- Each player starts with 8 pieces on an 8 × 8 board.
- Fill the dark squares in the nearest 2 rows.
- Dark moves first.
- Men move one square diagonally forward.
- Captures are compulsory.
- Jump over an adjacent opponent into the empty square beyond it.
- Men cannot capture backwards.
- Complete the entire jump chain with the same piece.
- Choose any complete capture sequence; the longest sequence is not compulsory.
- Remove captured pieces immediately.
- Kings slide any distance along diagonals.
- Jump one opposing piece at a time and land immediately behind it.
- Kings may reverse direction during a chain.
- Reaching the far row crowns a man and ends the turn, even when the new king could capture again.
- Win by taking or blocking all opposing pieces.
- Shadeh automatically draws on threefold repetition or after 80 consecutive turns without a capture or man move.
- These automatic draw checks are used for casual online play; tournament claim procedures are not simulated.
